How can we stick to our exercise and diet goals?

Hey everyone! I'd like to discuss ways that we can keep ourselves on track and focus on our weight loss or healthy living goals! With life and our daily responsibilities, it can get hard to stick with our exercise goals and to eat healthy. How many times have you been on the road late from your son's game and stopped off at McDonalds and just woofed down a Big Mac combo?? That was me- once upon a time, but no more. Let's share ways that help us stay accountable and on track. How many times have we been too busy to get our exercise in and it's already 10 pm and we have work the next day? What can we do? Please reply to this topic with ideas and strategies that have worked for you!

  1. The latest thing that has worked for me is joining a gym that I see everyday on my way to work...actually, its right next door to where I live in Duluth. I mean really...I would feel extremely lazy if I didn't go at least 3-4 times a week. Another plus for me is that since its a new gym, the owner is there all the time. He knows me from coming in there all the time and I almost feel accountable to him because he encourages me every time he sees me. I don't know anyone else that works out there, but having a gym buddy in any way works...he's sort of my buddy telling me great job, and asking will I be back tomorrow.

  2. Well, I just signed up to take a pre-view Fitness Thai Kickboxing class at Bangkok Boxing in Chamblee, GA. I love to watch boxing/wrestling so I thought what a good way to tie in what I love to watch as entertainment and make it a part of my fitness program. My pre-view class is scheduled for tomorrow. I am very excited and hope to join Bangkock Boxing so that I can attend regularly. I'll keep you all posted!!
